Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist in design, deployment, and administration of corporate systems.
  • Assist in tier 3 support, i.e. provide SME level support for production issues.
  • Assist in data centre management, i.e. perform necessary routing or switching, storage, hardware, and operating system tasks to ensure availability, capacity, security, and stability for in-house and remote data centres.
  • Assist in documentation and training for handling; develop and maintain living technical documentations, as well as provide cross training to teammates and end users for new systems.
  • Assist in any ad-hoc tasks, as and when assigned by immediate superior.

Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least two (2) years’ of working experience in IT infrastructure design and architecture across multiple distributed computing technologies including server, network, and storage technologies.
  • Knowledge in Cisco unified computing system, including deployment, administration and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge in network administration and security in a Cisco or MS environment.
  • Knowledge in VMWare ongoing administration and scaling (HyperV experience a plus).
  • Proficient in Cisco switching and routing.
  • Experienced with scripting and automation of administrative tasks.
  • Experienced with Cloud based technologies (Azure, Amazon S3, etc.).
  • Administrative experience with MS server technologies and Active Directory.
  • Experienced in Linux / redhat OS, Iptables, and firewall systems.
  • Experienced in building a whole system architecture (AD, cluster MSSQL, Load balance etc).
  • Good command of Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Chinese.
  • Able to work under tight schedule, timeline, or beyond regular working hours, if required to do so, in meeting deadlines and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in a cross functional, matrixed environment.

Education Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or any other equivalent qualification.

  • Monitor and take charge of project assignments according to SOP.
  • Liaise with merchant and banks for daily or weekly reports and updates.
  • Liaise with banks when issues or errors arise, and resolve within a reasonable time frame.
