Bucharest, 15th September 2008 - GHL Systems is pleased to announce that it
has recently penned a strategic distribution agreement with Omnilogic, the ICT
market leader in Romania.
This appointment follows the successful large-scale implementation of GHL
Systems' NetMATRIX Terminal Line Encryption (TLE) solution by Omnilogic
throughout Romania for Banca Comerciala Romania (BCR).
"GHL Systems is one of the top providers in the payment services and solutions
industry, and it is specialized in secured banking transactions. Omnilogic will
provide and implement GHL Systems solutions in Romania and this will offer
our customers in the financial/banking sector transaction security and will further
reduce fraud risk - a hot issue at this moment, both in Romania and worldwide,"
said Mr. Sebastian Banica, Senior Sales Director Commercial Division, Omnilogic
in a statement.
He added that Omnilogic "is glad that GHL Systems chose Omnilogic for signing
its first distribution contract in Europe".
The Malaysian company is a leader in the Asia-Pacific region in providing
complete payment services, by offering cost-effective quality infrastructure and
payments technology. Its flagship product, the NetMATRIX TLE is EMVcompliant
and is the first of its kind, has already been implemented by various
banks throughout world.
According to Mr. Alan Yap, Vice-President of International Sales for GHL
Systems, "With NetMATRIX TLE, we addressed network security and fraud
threats in Romania with a plug-and-play solution that requires no host changes,
and that provides critical capabilities such as remote key management.
"NetMATRIX also addresses other administration and deployment issues such as
mixed terminal environments, phased deployments, and key changeovers."
Despite its holistic approach to security and encryption, it is also scalable and
highly available to meet the demands of mission-critical, high-volume transaction
processing environments providing 3-in-1 fuctionality: a combination Switching
NAC, Concentrator NAC and TLE. It is the heart of GHL Systems' Adaptive
Secure Payments Architecture (ASPA) framework for a secure, robust and rapid
payments infrastructure.
"We are extremely pleased with the opportunity to work with Omnilogic and we
do hope that this will turn into further opportunities within the European
region", added Mr. Yap.
