GHL Systems & Stratus Technologies form strategic alliance to offer highly available solutions for payment network security
Kuala Lumpur & Singapore, 22 May 2009 – GHL Systems is pleased to announce the forming of a strategic alliance with fault-tolerant server heavyweight, Stratus Technologies in the area of payment network security.
The leading end-to-end payment services enabler has entered into an agreement with Stratus Technologies as a solution partner and channel, leveraging on the strengths of products and services from both sides.
This partnership marries GHL Systems’ NetMATRIX Terminal Line Encryption (TLE) solution with Stratus’ line of ftServers. The NetMATRIX TLE is a complete solution for banks wishing to introduce terminal line encryption into their existing POS network infrastructure. It addresses the need for transaction encryption, network security and fraud threats with a plug-and-play solution that requires no host changes, providing critical capabilities such as remote key management. NetMATRIX also addresses other administration and deployment issues such as mixed terminal environments, phased deployments, and key changeovers.
The Stratus ftServer of fault-tolerant systems provides proven of 99.999% uptime for high availability. The ftServer family comes complete with Continuous Processing features that works in concert with its fault-tolerant, replicated hardware components to pre-empt problems caused by transient hardware errors and eliminating the high costs in clusters or standby servers.
