The NetAccess L1000 is a network controller for connecting LAN-enabled EDC terminals to the Bank via a dedicated, high-speed link. It allows large Retail merchants to speed up their terminal transactions and save on telephone infrastructure costs and call charges.

The NetAccess L1000 supports up to 90 devices within a single RS485 or TCP/IP LAN and also supports uplinks to the bank via a leased line connection, running TCP/IP, X.25/SDLC/HDLC or frame relay protocols. Deployment of terminal applications is also made extremely fast and simple with its plug-and-play design and support of generic data packet routing from terminals.

The NetAccess L1000 is one of the industry's fastest and most versatile LAN routers of its kind and was awarded VeriFone's International Innovation Awards in the year 2001/2002. The L1000 also supports all models of Verifone and Sagem EDC terminals.
