Presenting GHL Systems’ VersaRead VR-300. The world’s
first JCB, MasterCard and Visa type-approved contactless
reader with all applications residing in the same
reader. Acquirers, merchants, retailers, transit
authorities or loyalty providers need no longer deploy
separate readers for their contactless initiatives.
With its unique innovations such as its single
integrated power source enables the VersaRead VR-300 to
only have a single RS232 cable interface for both power
and communications, as well as its three built-in SAM
slots and huge memory, the VersaRead VR-300’s
performance in every respect continues to push the
envelope of innovation beyond what others have
considered impossible.

and seamless transactions. Additionally, a wide LCD
display allows the support of graphics, and western and
eastern language fonts.
A single power source enables the
reader only have a single RS232 cable interface for both
power and communications – thus, reducing the need for
separate power sources (for both reader and terminal)
and also reducing clutter around the check-out counter
area.
Out-of-the-Box design
A new display feature allowing for a
large display area enables advertising opportunities for
banks or merchants by allowing for a customized look for
each individual reader, with a removable see-through
screen display cover.
